Feeling like he needed to find the music again in his life, Michael acquired a new accordion in 2021. He learned to play as a child because his mother said, "Somebody has to make music for us at weddings and funerals."
Michael, 3 years after completing the radiation treatments in 2024. Doctors tell him the cancer is "not visible" in the latest scans, however, they are careful not to say that that means the cancer is gone.
